Rahane Name announced as a captain  in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-2019


Ajit agarkar decided that Indian team batsman Ajinkya Rahane was named captain of Mumbai for the 
first four games of the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy in Bangalore, it was announced on Wednesday
 (September 12). Rahane replaces Aditya Tare , under whom Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy in the 2015
-16 season from saurashtra team, and marched into the final of the same tournament a year later.
 The 30-year-old wicket keeping-batsman had endured and extraordinary form with the batting last
 season in all the three formats of the match.

Ajinkya Rahane  well played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. which begins on September 19 in Bengaluru
.and World Cup coming only nine months after and India strategy to find their middle order, the
 tournament comes at a good time for the 30-year old batsman who was very good  from the team
 eleven picked for the Asia Cup.

The former Mumbai captain Aditya Tare is very good player - and tare had managed 237 runs in six
 games including (three fifties) the Ranji Trophy, and 186 runs in seven games with two fifties in the
 vijay hazare trophy and 145 runs in eight games in the syed mushtaq Ali tournament in 2017-2018.
 - but has not appointed a captain .And 23 yr old Shreyas Iyer has been appointed as a  vice-captain
 and he is very well play and bcci thinking for shreyas in squad for asia cup . Batsman Prithvi Shaw
, he is good opener and very good player Test call-up for the fourth and final Tests, has also been
 included.

In the recently england tour of india, Rahane very well played and scored 257 in ten innings at an
 average of 25.70. His two fiftys came in the Nottingham and Southampton Test where he scored a
 first-innings 81 and a second-innings 51 respectively. In tour of november and December 2017
, Rahane has not available to play for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy knockouts due to national duties for
 the ODI side during the South Africa tour.
